The Schneider Electric IMX is a Modular Residual Current Device (RCD) from the Acti9 series, designed specifically for protection against electric shock and fire hazards caused by earth leakage currents. Unlike circuit breakers that protect against overloads and short-circuits, the IMX is dedicated to detecting and interrupting residual currents.
