The Fisher™ 846 is a high-performance, electro-pneumatic transducer (commonly referred to as an I/P or E/P transducer). Its primary function is to accurately convert a standard analog electronic control signal (4-20 mA) from a controller or Distributed Control System (DCS) into a precise, proportional pneumatic output signal (3-15 psig) to operate a pneumatic control valve, actuator, or other pneumatic device. It serves as the critical link between electronic control systems and pneumatic final control elements.
